WELLBEING SESSIONS

WE ARE RUNNING WELLBEING SESSIONS FOR ADULTS WHO ARE WANTING TO IMPROVE THEIR MENTAL HEALTH AND WELLBEING THROUGH GETTING IN THE SEA REGULARLY.

Being in the water and being active in a positive social space helps improve our wellbeing. These sessions are a relaxed space to see how you enjoy getting in the waves and feel the benefit it brings us. You are encouraged to take it at your own pace and slowly build up your confidence - you'll be surprised how quickly it develops!

The activity is dependent upon the conditions on the day, which we'll adapt to suit to the wind and waves. This activity could be surfing, stand up paddle boarding, body boarding, snorkeling, swimming or body surfing! 

Your lesson will be led by a qualified instructor and all the gear needed to get in the water is included.

At the moment, we are only running our ADULT wellbeing sessions. However, we can provide specific sessions for kids if you are interested. Please email info@southshieldsurf.co.uk where we can organise and plan a session.

We take self referrals to the sessions.

Fully funded by Seascapes these sessions are free of charge.

Lessons are Thursday evenings 6-8pm and begin 9th May 2024.
